Crimes in Wisconsin are categorized by 'Class', which dictate the sentencing.

Class A Felony - Life imprisonment

Class B Felony - Up to 60 years imprisonment

Class C Felony - Up to 40 years imprisonment and/or up to $100,000 in fines

Class D Felony - Up to 25 years imprisonment and/or up to $100,000 in fines

Class E Felony - Up to 15 years imprisonment and/or up to $50,000 in fines

Class F Felony - Up to 12.5 years imprisonment and/or up to $25,000 in fines

Class G Felony - Up to 10 years imprisonment and/or up to $25,000 in fines

Class H Felony - Up to 6 years imprisonment and/or up to $10,000 in fines

Class I Felony - Up to 3.5 years imprisonment and/or up to $10,000 in fines

Class A Misdemeanor - Up to 9 months imprisonment and/or up to $10,000 in fines

Class B Misdemeanor - Up to 90 days imprisonment and/or up to $1,000 in fines

Class C Misdemeanor - Up to 30 days imprisonment and/or up to $500 in fines
